Step 1:

• Navigate to Databases > Parameter Groups

• Click on the desired default Parameter Group to edit.

• Click on the copy button.

  

  
  
  

• Give the copy a name and description, and then click Ok.

• Click on the fresh copy, and click edit to open the list of editable parameters.

  

  
  
  

• When finished, spin up a DB Instance with this Parameter Group, or attach it to a previously made one.
